This 2002 Lexus IS300 5spd is owned by a good friend of mine Travis Westman. He has been into the whole HellaFlush and stance scene for quite some time now. He just recently set the bar once again for fitment in the IS300 game. Several weeks ago Travis made an introduction thread on the StanceNation forums and caught the eye of the creator & owner of the site, Elvis. I had previously met Elvis while I attended the StanceNation Meet & Greet back on July 10th. Since I am an official photographer for StanceNation, Elvis sent me a message with Travis’ cell phone number so we could arrange a photo shoot. Little did Elvis know, I already was friends with Travis and I was on top of it and spoke to Travis about doing a shoot. Isn’t it great when a plan comes together?
Enough story telling….let’s talk about this gangster fitment IS and what it took to get the stance down pat. For suspension Travis is rockin Apex’i N1 ExV coilovers with custom Eibach 8kg rear springs, TRD front & rear underbody braces and Tanabe sway bars. Wheels & tires consist of Enkei NT03+M 18×9.5 +27 and 18×10.5 +30 along with H&R 10mm & 5mm spacers which make the effective offsets +17 front and +25 rear. He is rollin on 215/35/18 Nankang NS-II’s in front and 235/35/18 Falken ZE-912 out back. Stretching tires is all part of the game when you wanna push the limits with your wheel fitment.
